We’re kicking off the celebrations with a relaxed Welcome Evening for all our guests on the night before the big day.

Join us from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at The Coppa Club, The Bath Townhouse, where we’ll gather upstairs in the Delaunay Bar.

It’s a chance for everyone to meet, mingle, and get to know each other a little. Brits, meet Americans, and Americans, find yourselves a Brit.
Keep it light and fun!

We’ll be serving drinks and light bites (think pizza slices, calamari, fried chicken, and veggie dishes), but this won’t be a full dinner.

The timings below are what we’re currently planning.

A few things may shift slightly on the day, depending on the weather, suppliers, and Chris behaving himself.

Coach pick-up outside The Francis Hotel (6-11 Queen Square, Bath, BA1 2HH)

1:15 PM - 1:30 PM
Arrival at Coombe Lodge, Blagdon

Drinks reception

2:30 PM
Wedding ceremony (weather permitting)

3:00 PM
Post-ceremony cocktail hour and photographs

5:00 PM
The wedding dinner begins, or as they say in the UK, a wedding breakfast (with a three-course meal and a few speeches)

7:30 PM
Music and dancing

10:00 PM
The first return coach to Bath (drop-off will be at the Francis Hotel) departs.

~12:00 AM
Final return coach to Bath, and the end of the evening

The Morning After… (and a Special Birthday)

Join us the morning after the wedding for a relaxed breakfast and a chance to relive the highlights from the night before.

The Francis Hotel, where a lot of guests will already be staying, offers a fantastic buffet breakfast, and we’ll be there from around 9:00 am. Drop in if you’d like to join us.

As it happens, the 29th of July is also a special day. It’s Chris’s father, Stuart’s 81st birthday. Even more fitting, his own father was called Francis, so we couldn’t think of a better place to be!
